Serviced offices in Bath see rising demand across 2024
Commercial property provider HPH has seen a recent rise in interest in its serviced offices in the centre of Bath, indicating an uptick in demand for office space in the city after a downturn following the pandemic.
Working from home, hybrid working and now flexible workplace policies have made demand for offices uncertain in recent years. However, many companies continue to encourage office-based employment, identifying significant benefits for their teams, employees and company performance.
Watches of Bath is the latest business to take office space with HPH. Following an initial move earlier in 2024, these specialists in pre-owned Rolexes and other luxury watch brands have now taken further space in HPH’s serviced offices in Gay Street, central Bath – a vote of confidence in their new location.
‘The increased interest we’ve seen this year is an encouraging sign for the centre of Bath,’ said Lindsay Holdoway, HPH’s Managing Director. ‘We now have a waiting list for our serviced offices and as a result we’re planning to bring additional capacity to the market in the near future. We’re delighted to see businesses of the calibre of Watches of Bath expanding their footprint in the heart of the city.’
After unsettled economic conditions in the last two years, 2024 has seen a bounce back in the commercial property market in the South-West as a whole. Bath’s retail and hospitality sectors have recovered well post-pandemic and there is a widespread feeling in the city that they are flourishing. A growing number of companies looking for Bath city centre office space will provide further support for the city’s continuing economic success.
